FUNDING YOUR EDUCATION

Financial options

Cost should not be the reason you stop learning. Seabird College works with partners across the country to remove financial barriers

A note on tuition

Programs are proudly offered tuition-free for Indigenous learners

This is made possible through the extraordinary generosity of educational partners Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) and the First Nations Education Steering Committee (FNESC). Their commitment removes financial barriers and helps learners step forward with confidence, pursue their academic aspirations, and walk proudly along their educational journeys.

WHERE FUNDING COMES FROM

Pathways to pay for school

✓ First Nations education funding

Many First Nations communities sponsor members through post-secondary education. Start with your home community's education department.

✓ Provincial & federal funding

StudentAid BC, ESDC, and other public programs help cover tuition, books, and living costs while you study.

✓ Employment-linked funding

SASET, WorkBC, and employer sponsorships support learners who are returning to or changing careers.
